Looks amazing! I made it over the weekend too for the first time and it was so bomb. I didn’t know about the butter thing and makes sense because we made a gravy with the juices and it was super salty but the meat wasn’t salty at all. I’ll have to try and do it again with out.

The temp ain’t high enough to make raw garlic tasty, and butter extracts fat soluble flavors from the meat, making it blander than it would have been if you hadn’t.
